1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
My first makeup item was probably Lip Smackers...does that count?? If not then it was probably clear lipgloss.
I’m pretty sure my first makeup item was a Maybelline Colossal Volume mascara? or probably a lip gloss from like Bath and Body Works
2. Favorite high end brand?
I really like Benefit because everything they make is just super adorable.
I think Tarte is my favorite because everything feels like high quality and they have the best mascara.
3. Favorite drugstore brand?
I really like Maybelline because their BB cream is really good, and they have a lot of really good mascaras.
Maybelline is my favorite, their eyeshadows and skin products are really nice.
4. What brands do you really want to try but haven't yet?
I really want everything Urban Decay makes, but I don’t actually have any of their stuff.
I want to try stuff from The Balm because I hear a lot about their bronzers, and highlighters
5. What's is your most cherished beauty product?
My most cherished product is probably my Benefit Gimme Brow brow gel because I think that eyebrows are the most important part of the face. As a person that suffered through my awkward preteen phase with HORRIBLE brows, I like products that make them look pretty.
My most cherished beauty product has to be Lights Cameras Lashes by tarte because i have like short, white blonde eyelashes so LCL makes them so much longer and darker.
6. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you pick up an item here and there or tons at once?
I shop for makeup online a lot but I don’t usually buy much...I pick up stuff here and there because makeup is so gosh darn expensive.
I pick up items here and there, i usually buy it as I need it, or if I find something that looks really nice or interesting.
7. What type of product do you buy the most?
Mascara for sure.
Either lip products or like blushes and bronzers.
8. Any brand you absolutely can't stand?
Hmmm...I don’t think there’s one particular brand I can’t stand, but I really dislike the Maybelline Fit Me range because the shades are so orange and I had to buy two just to mix them together and it was way too much work.
There really isn’t a brand I absolutely hate but i really don’t like Wet n’ Wild. Just the products I’ve tried by them has always been really really low quality. I know the brand is supposed to cheap and like affordable but I just really don’t like their products.
9. Where is your favorite place to shop for makeup?
Honestly, it would have to be a drugstore or like Target or something...I always feel so pressured in fancy makeup stores and I get so uncomfortable.
My favorite place is Sephora, but it’s so so expensive.
10. Favorite bath and body brand?
Lush! It’s vegan and they don’t test on animals, which is good. Their stuff also smells sooo nice and it’s really calming.
I definitely agree with Emily, Lush is totally my favorite. All of their stuff is so high quality and sooo calming.
11. If you could only buy from one brand what brand would you pick?
Oooooh I don’t know...probably a drugstore brand so I wouldn’t be broke…
If I could pick absolutely any brand it would probably be Tarte but if I’m being practical it would probably be like Maybelline or something similar.
12. What brand has the best packaging?
I think Benefit has the most adorable packaging ever.
Lime crime has the cutest packaging, their lipsticks are purple with shiny unicorns!
13. Favorite beauty gurus?
I’m in love with Zoella, Louise (SprinkleofGlitter), and Tanya Burr. Lex from MadeYewLook is also super cool but she does mainly special effects and monster makeup.
I love Shaaanxo, Zoella, Louise, Tanya Burr, Michelle Phan, and Missglamorazzi. I spend a lot of time watching videos so i have quite a few favorites.
14. Nails: bright or dark?
Right now I’m into brights but come winter I love a good oxblood nail.
I pretty much love brights all year round but in winter a nice dark blue or red is great.
15. Blush or bronzer?
Bronzer, because I’m super pale and my cheeks are already pretty pink. I also have round cheeks so I need bronzer for contour!
Definitely bronzer, it just adds nice definition to my face and makes me look less pale!
16. Favorite lip product?
I’m currently obsessed with OCC Lip Tar.
I love love love Lime Crimes velvetines.
17. Favorite eye product?
Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara from Tarte.
Either Lights, Camera, Lashes like Emily or Pixi’s Lash Line Ink.
